I will continue!

Thanks to my friend Celeste's plea to keep this blog going, I will continue weighing in.  Plus, I will be more motivated to stay under 140 for the holidays which I have done so far.  I will weigh in officially tomorrow and see where I'm at.  So far I've been 137-138 most days which is groovy.  Once again I have date night on Friday night, Ward Christmas party on Saturday night and Thanksgiving with my Dad and whole family on Sunday night so I won't be eating very well for a while.  Good thing I will weigh in before I attend all of these activities :)

Friday Morning Weigh In

Last Friday I was 137.2, up a pound from the week before but I have not eaten well or exercised consistently in forever.  The day before my birthday (Monday) I was at 135.6.  I keep wondering when this crazy weight will go back up but so far, it stays down.  This morning I was back in the 136's again so who knows? 

I am thinking of taking a break from this blog.  It doesn't seem that anyone even reads these posts and we are heading into the holiday season which means treats at every turn and yummy food.  My plan is to stay below 140 for the holidays and that gives me 3-4 pounds of wiggle room to eat what I really want to eat.  Last year I only ended up gaining 3 pounds over the holidays and was proud I didn't gain too much. 

See everyone next January maybe???!!

Friday Morning Weigh In

On Friday morning I weighed in at 136.2, down 2 pounds from the week before.  I don't know how I lost 2 pounds with eating candy and treats all the time and only exercising a few times, but I guess it happened.  The only thing I can think is I stopped taking a prescription pain med for my back (just getting by on 1 Tylenol PM each night) so perhaps I was retaining some water with that drug and it melted away?  I don't know but that is the only thing that changed in the past week. 

I have continued to keep the weight off and was 136 this morning as well.  I have not eaten well though so I"m not sure how I'm getting so lucky but after my birthday on Tuesday, I am going to try really hard to do better, especially before the holidays hit :)

Anyway, I need to get back into exercising.  I got a really bad cold and sinus infection for about 3 weeks several weeks ago and didn't feel like exercising and I have not gotten back into it since.  I ran for about 20 minutes on Monday and raked leaves for 45 minutes on Friday but that's it for this week.
