Friday Morning Weigh-In

Well, this morning I was 140.6 which is a 0.2 pound weight gain. I did really, really well this week until yesterday. I bought party food for Justin's graduation LAN party on Saturday night and my kids begged me to open the Cheetos so I gave in. As a result, I kept snacking on them all day! Then I had a R.S. Luau to go to at 6:30 which meant we really wouldn't eat until 7:00 so I made my kids Mac N Cheese at 5:15. I proceeded to eat probably 1/3 of the box with them which was around 300 extra calories to add to my Cheetos. Hey, I was hungry! Then I had a big dinner and ate most of my pie so all in all, not a great day for eating well and definitely some extra calories consumed.

Oh well, I really don't feel like this day set me back, it was just a fun eating day and you need those some times!

Friday Morning Weigh-In

This morning I weighed in at 140.4, really close to 140 and down 0.4 pounds. Wow, I really had to work hard this week to lose weight! Last weekend I completely pigged out and ate all day Friday and Saturday and ended up gaining 2 pounds which I had to work really hard and eat really well to lose. So, instead of pigging out today, I am going to eat normal food if I get hungry but not overdo it. Basically, I just don't want to feel hungry over the weekend but not pig out either. Plus, I have a wedding reception tonight and that will mean a treat :)

I'm still enjoying my new exercise videos. After going through all of them, I really like my walking one and my cardio inferno one, but I dislike the dance one and the power mile one is just okay. However, once you open a movie, there are no returns so maybe I'll pull them out again the future and give them another try when I get bored with my current videos.

Friday Morning Weigh-In

This morning I weighed in at 140.8 which is down 1 pound, yay! I have really tried to eat better and exercise this week. Plus with my new exercise videos, I am having some new fun! My favorite so far is a 5 mile walking video which is fun, easy and keeps you going. It's hard to believe you are really walking as many miles as it says but I'll take it! The video is done by Leslie Sansone and she is really quirky and fun :) I have now tried 2 of my 5 new workout DVD's so I have some new ones to still try out next week.

Here's to being below 140 next week, hooray!

New Motivation

I decided that because my weight has become pretty stagnant and my eating choices have been less than stellar, I needed to shake things up a bit. I started by buying 5 new workout DVD's! 2 were on clearance and I decided to just take my allowance and buy something to get me motivated again besides the 2 I always use plus my treadmill.

I bought everything from walking workouts, overall body workouts to dance workouts and we'll see if I even like them. I tried a new 30 minute total body workout today and it was fun although they didn't really explain the moves very well and moved on rather quickly but that made the time fly by :)

Friday Morning Weigh-In

Well, this morning I weighed in at 141.8 which is a 0.2 pound weight loss, oh yeah! Well, I still have not completely talked myself into regular exercise and eating healthy. I am usually good for a day, bad for a day etc. Plus I have had all sorts of opportunities to eat badly and they continue at least into next week!

This week on Monday it was Memorial Day and I had Carl's Jr for lunch and dutch oven chicken and homemade ice cream/cookies for dinner. Tuesday I was really good until I ate that box of granola bars, lol! On Wednesday I worked out A LOT (yard work and mowed the lawn and a 3.5 mile hike) and then Justin and I went out to eat at a Mongolian restaurant and stuffed ourselves! Then on Thursday it was my brother's high school graduation so I ate out Wendy's for lunch and then had dinner at the Mayan. Then I went to a friend's wedding reception and had desserts :) I suppose I can eat well today, tomorrow and Sunday and then Monday it is my anniversary and we are going out to eat of course! Oh well, one day I will really decide to commit. Until then, I just really want to get back down to 140. So close but so far, lol!

So, yesterday I bought these chocolate covered peanut butter granola bars and ate the whole box. Just thought you should know that I'm a pig :)
