32 Weeks

This week I weighed in the same as last week at 168.4.  I have stayed right around 168 all week and I am glad that I have weighed less this pregnancy than last pregnancy.  I looked on this blog and I reached a weight gain of 30 pounds at 29 weeks with Mikey so I am doing a little bit better and will likely gain a few pounds less overall with only weighing 28.6 pounds at 32 weeks.

I have a checkup tomorrow and after that I will need to go in every 2 weeks and then at 36 weeks I will go in weekly until baby boy arrives.  It's exciting that I only have 8 weeks left to go.

This past week I was quite ill with morning sickness on Monday but was okay the rest of the week.  At this point I have good hours and bad hours.  I developed a bit of a cold these past few days with a sore throat, sneezing and froggy voice.  I haven't felt too worn out and I'm hoping it doesn't get worse.  I also need to get a few more Zofran pills from the doc tomorrow since I only have 6-7 more and that will only last me a few weeks.  I don't want to pay for 90 of them like he has given me in the past so I am going to ask for a few more just to get me by until the baby gets here.  I am also going to ask him about getting the pertussis shot and possibly send Justin and my mom to get one also.

Justin and I went on a fun date Saturday night.  My friend Robin got married again to a wonderful man Zach and invited us to her reception at the Lion House.  Her dress was super cute as it was tea length and her colors were pink and gray, super cute!  They served dinner and we enjoyed sitting with some of Zach's friends.  Then afterwards we went on a spur of the moment tour of the beehive home and there was a couple with us and the gentleman was quite interested in the church and we had a great time answering questions and talking with them.  Even the sister missionaries who conducted the tour told us at the end that they appreciated this tour and it was their favorite of the day :)  We then walked around Temple Square as much as I could stand and I loved being downtown when the weather was overcast and it wasn't so hot.  It was seriously my favorite date we have been on in a long time!

Anyway, I'm hoping to have a good week!

31 Weeks & 7 months tomorrow!

This morning I believe I weighed just over 168, up over a pound from last week.  This week was another week when the weight just seemed to keep piling on and I was higher than this earlier in the week.  Oh well, I blame still having morning sickness for the weight gain.  If I didn't feel sick, I don't think I would be eating so much.

The other day a neighbor girl was over here early and she said she had a donut for breakfast.  I don't know, but it really struck me how much I miss eating whatever I want without getting sick.  It's been so long since my stomach didn't feel nauseated or sick, I don't really remember what it feels like to not have morning sickness.  I'm sure once it's gone, it will seem like a short time but for now, it seems like eternity.  I know I only have 2 months to go, but that still seems like a really long time right now.  I keep wondering if it really will go away and realistically I know it will, but it's hard to imagine it not plaguing me during the day.

Anyway, I have stayed true to not eating any sugar in the morning and so far, the oatmeal has treated me best.  I had cream of wheat one morning and it was ok, but still not quite right and I had toast this morning and so far, stomach is not so happy.  I guess oatmeal it is!

Yesterday I didn't feel like I needed a Zofran first thing so I didn't take one but once I got to church, I regretted it.  Justin had to go to the car to change Mikey's diaper so I just sent him home to get me one since I was playing the piano for choir during the meeting.  Once I had it, I felt much better.  I wish I didn't need them.

3/4 of the way Done!

Today I hit 30 weeks, hooray!  Only 10 weeks to go....the final stretch is finally here. Also, I called on my glucose test and I passed the 1 hour one, yay!

This past week, I made a discovery that helped a lot.  I started eating plain oatmeal in the morning and it really helped with the nausea/exhaustion I feel for 1-2 hours each morning.  It wasn't completely gone but much less than before when eating Life cereal for breakfast every day.  So, I am going to try hard and eat no sugar in the mornings (this morning it was plain cream of wheat) and next up, toast with butter because it's faster than cooking cereal each morning.

I weighed in at about 167 this morning, up half a pound from last week.  However, on Tuesday last week I went down from 166.6 to 165 so I feel like up I'm up 2 pounds.  Oh well, keep moving forward.  If I gain a pound a week, that would be 37 pounds.....still doing well in my opinion!

29 Weeks and Post Vacation

This past week flew by, it was so much fun!  It was a very cheap week long vacation, less than $150 total which is awesome!

On Monday we didn't check in until the afternoon so we just packed and did laundry all day, it was exhausting.  Then Monday night we had dinner at the condo and then went swimming, just perfect.  Then we had popcorn and M&M's and watched TV before heading to bed.

On Tuesday we drove the kids to Evanston WY and we played in the river for an hour and then went to McDonalds for ice cream and let the kids play for a few hours on the playland.  Once again, just perfect.  We came back for dinner and went swimming again in the evening.

On Wednesday we just stayed at the condo all day and went miniature golfing in the morning and then Justin took Allie and Timmy swimming while I just vegged in the condo catching up on emails, budgeting and facebook while Mikey napped for a few hours.  We had dinner and went swimming again in the evening and then hung out til our friends from AZ showed up around 10:30 PM and then hit the sack.

On Thursday, the 4th of July, we woke up early and went boating with Justin's family at Pineview and our friends came along.  Then we went to my Grandparents in SLC and met my sister's boyfriend Clark from California.  He was very nice.  Then Justin took the kids swimming in my grandma's pool while I went to my niece's dance performance at Murray Park with my family.  Then we had dinner and delicious cake at my grandparent's and hung out til 8 PM when we went to Justin's sister's house for her annual in the street firework show extravaganza :)  I was truly exhausted by the time I went to bed.

Friday morning I was so exhausted it took me a while to get going.  We went mini golfing with our friends but it was rainy and muddy and Mikey fell down in a mud pit, oh joy.  We decided to go swimming and it was much more crowded due to the holiday weekend in full swing.  Then I went to the Park City Outlets with Allison and our friends and then they headed out and I went back to the condo.  We ate at the restaurant that night and then we were going to go swimming again but it started to pour so we just went back to the condo and watched The Incredibles and ate treats.

We packed up Saturday morning and headed home after a great week!  We got together with our Bountiful friends on Saturday afternoon and then got pizza on the way home and got poured on driving home, crazy rain this week!

This morning I weighed in at 166.4, up almost a pound from the week before.  Still haven't heard on the glucose test but the doctor was only in Monday and Tuesday last week.  Still more nauseous than I was several weeks ago so that stinks but I'm trying not to be too negative.  I told Justin I may just have to take a zofran every day to feel a little better.  I am trying very hard to not eat sugar this morning in order to give me a little more energy to unpack and deep clean my house.  So far, not too bad.

Vacation Time!

On Monday morning I weighed in at 165.6, up 2 pounds from the week before.  Oh well, it happens.  I also had a Dr.'s appt and did my glucose test, no results yet.  I have been having more nausea than normal lately so I was tested for a UTI and nothing, looking fine so I guess I'm just unlucky.  I also can't seem to avoid the exhaustion that sets in for an hour or so each morning so oh well, less than 3 months to go.  I asked the doc about my foot and he couldn't see anything and he recommended seeing a podiatrist who can x-ray my foot to see if there is glass or something embedded deep down.  Hmmm, if this doesn't go away soon (the sliver) I will have to consider doing something about it.

This week I am with my family up at East Canyon Resort having a blast!  My grandparents have 2 timeshares and give one away to a grandchild each summer and we were invited this year.  So, basically like a free trip besides a little more for snacks and treats and gas money! Since we had to bring all our food, I am not eating out so hopefully not too much of a weight gain but I am eating a few more sweets than normal.  We are seriously having a great vacation!  Very low key which is great for someone pregnant like me and just relaxing and swimming, and enjoying being together as a family.  I'll check in next Monday!
