Break for Christmas

So, I am taking a break until January when I go full force to lose weight and be healthy.  My goal right now is to not go above 155 and then I'll have 15 pounds until my baby weight is gone, and then ideally another 5-10 beyond that.  See you all on January 3rd.  Merry Christmas!

P.S.  Kate, the fact that you are losing weight during the Christmas season astounds me, truly.

Back to Friday Weigh-Ins

So, weighing in on Monday is hard on me because I tend to eat worse/exercise less on the weekends, especially Sundays when I don't work out at all.  So, I am going back to Fridays.  So, starting with today, my weight is 154, down 1.2 pounds from Monday.

I have exercised every day this week.  Mostly it was running around upstairs for 30 minutes while my baby slept or hung out in the swing. It was accompanied by watching kid shows, dodging kids and toys but I did it anyway! Who knows how far I went or my pace (I'm sure slow) but it feels good!

Yikes

So this morning I weighed in at 155.2, going in the wrong direction.  I did indulge some this week, but not 3 pounds worth for sure and I exercised twice this week.  Not sure what my body is doing but it's not making much sense.  However, I am not going to stress right now with the holidays here.  I will go full force in January.  I am also having some cramping so maybe my body is still adjusting?  I remember after having Mikey I exercised and ate well and I gained weight for a few months before finally starting to lose, and it wasn't during the holidays where I was even indulging.  Oh well, Merry Christmas!

Thanksgiving is Over!

Well, after a crazy eating weekend, I am up 2 pounds now at 152.2.  You know, I expected this and it's okay.  Now to just eat better this week but now starts the crazy parties and get togethers that usually have yummy food.  Not sure if I will lose much but hopefully I won't gain much during December either.  Not ready to commit to any non sugar goals but going to try to eat in moderation and eat limited sugar when not at an event.

I also want to post my measurements monthly so here goes:

Weight:  152.2  (up 1.4 lbs)
Neck:  12.5   (same)
Chest:  35.75   (down 1.25)
Under chest:  31   (down 0.25)
Waist:  33  (down 0.25)
Natural waist:  30.5  (new)
Hips:  36.5   (down 1.25)
Right Arm:  12   (same)
Right Thigh:  23  (up 0.25)
Right Calf:  15.25   (up 0.25)

Overall, I lost inches from a month and a half ago when I was 1 month postpartum.  Surprising since my weight has gone up.  Apparently the weight has just gone to my lower half, ha ha.  I also added the measurement of my natural waist, the skinniest my waist is between my chest and my hips.
