Friday Morning Weigh In

Well, after vacation I weighed in this morning at 138.2 which is up 0.6 pounds from 2 weeks ago.  When I left, I was 137.4 and when I got back I was seeing 140.4 and 140.6 so I gained 3 pounds on my trip.  However, I continued eating bad on Sunday and Monday and somehow I lost 2 pounds during the week putting me in the 138's which is great!  I am really trying to stay below 139 so my range right now is 135-139 and I do well at staying in that range.

There have been a few times that I wish I had some motivation to lose weight before the holidays but each day I make a resolution I end up failing because my heart isn't really in it.  I don't know if I'll get on a health kick until the beginning of the year and that's okay too.  Anyway, just maintaining for now and that is just fine.

Friday Morning Weigh In

This morning I weighed in at 137.6, down 0.2 pounds from last week.  The only reason I lost weight this week is because I haven't really sat still at all.  I have had a lot of family parties and treats but I am planning a neighborhood Halloween party and I have been preparing and shopping like crazy getting ready for it.  So, party treats tomorrow and then another family birthday party on Sunday.  Plus, Justin and I are going on a romantic retreat to Telluride, CO next week for 4 days so I won't have a weigh in next Friday since I'll be out and about :)

Friday Morning Weigh In

Sorry to be so late in posting but I was shopping all morning with Allison on Friday and then we were gone all afternoon and evening with family having fun.  I weighed in at 137.8, up quite a bit but the weight loss from the week before but it wasn't true weight loss, probably just water weight lost.  I didn't think it really realistic to lose more than 5 pounds in  week and it wasn't.  In fact, I went up about a pound a day after that settling back into the 137's.  However, I hardly exercised last week and I have been battling a cold/sinus infection for a few weeks now and I have had the biggest sweet tooth.  I have not wanted to eat a single veggie or fruit and just keep searching my house for treats.  I really need to work on that.  Anyway, still staying about the same in the 137's and 138's although I really need to be better about working out and eating better.  Maybe this week?

Justin wants to start doing some weight training with me which is awesome!  He read an article recently about people starting to lose muscle mass after the age of 30 so I am going to try and do it twice a week with him using my exercise weight lifting video.  It does 20 minutes of upper and 20 minutes of lower body each so we are going to try and work it!

Also, not mowing the lawn last week has really improved my back pain.  I think I may have to pass that chore onto Justin permanently but luckily winter is coming soon and our water is getting turned off this week so we may only have to mow once more anyway.

Friday Morning Weigh In

Well, my body and the scale are totally on my side this week!  I weighed in at 134.4, wow!  I exercised a lot this week and have done a lot of walking since it's green ribbon week at school for Timmy.  I also ate well and had fruits and/or vegetables at every meal even though I have had a few treats here and there as well.  I thought my scale was off this morning so I even changed the batteries and had my daughter weigh in and she was totally the same as always, 35 pounds.  I even waited a while and weighed in again and it was still the same.

It also helps that I play volleyball for at least an hour the night before I weigh in.  Last night I played from 7:45 until 9:15 and was playing the majority of that time, I love it!

Anyway, I made it to my goal and even more in less than a week.  Not sure how, but I am lovin' it.  It would be nice to make it to 130 so I will try a little but I also love fall comfort foods.  We'll see if I keep it off by next week.

Friday Morning Weigh In

On Friday I weighed in at 138.2, up 0.4 pounds.  I am noticing that I am steadily and slowly gaining weight.  Not much, but some.  However, I developed a bad cold over the weekend and I jumped up a few pounds and the lowest I've seen since my Friday weigh in is 140 so it's time to get my butt back in gear.  I started off by running this morning, and will do laundry all day and some deep cleaning.  I am feeling a bit better so I will work until I feel worn out :)

I would love to get back down to 135 by my birthday (6 weeks, Nov 6) but I haven't been very motivated to lose weight and I'm still not 100% motivated but I'm going to give it a try at least this week and see if I can make it somewhere.  First things first, exercise a lot this week and try and eat healthy with little to no sugar.

Friday Morning Weigh In

This morning I was at 137.8, up 0.6 from last week but still holding pretty steady.  I am still exercising a few times a week and eating well sometimes and not well sometimes but I feel content.  I am just enjoying maintaining and going a little up and down a little throughout the week plus my aunt flo is here to visit right now.  Anyway, life is good.

Also, I went to the doctor again for back pain./heartburn on Wed and he gave me a long release pain med for back pain so I can make it through the night without pain (yay!) and prilosec for heartburn.  The first day I took prilosec (Wed.) I had a headache all afternoon/evening/all night long and most of yesterday until it wore off.  Last night I took the pain med and prilosec while going to bed and slept the best I have in weeks, no pain, no headaches or heartburn and I could've slept in forever this morning.  What a great feeling!

Thursday morning weigh in on a Friday?

So, I didn't get an accurate weigh in this morning.  About 3:30 AM I woke up with severe back pain and strong heartburn.  I got up and had some of my heartburn medicine and since I had taken an anti-inflammatory drug the night before for back pain, I took a percocet that I have been given for back pain mixed with heartburn from the ER a few months ago.  I tried to get back to sleep but percocet just makes me drowsy and relaxed but I have a hard time falling asleep.  Then around 5 AM I starting experiencing really strong nausea and even hung out on the bathroom floor for a while but never threw up.  I finally had a few drops of peppermint doterra essential oils and it helped and I went back to sleep until 7:45 AM.  When I woke up I had to eat immediately because the nausea was coming back quickly.  I'm guessing it was the heartburn medicine that caused the nausea because it is finally going away, phew.

So, I am just going to take my weigh in from Thursday which was 137.2 and I was hoping to be in the 136's this week but that's okay, I'm still down 1.8 pounds from last Friday.  I exercised Mon-Thurs and I am finally able to run a solid 30 minutes again without major fatigue or issues at all, yay!

I also watched what I ate but still had some treats :)
